An oral implant (also known as an endosseous dental implant or component) is a prosthesis that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, denture, or facial prosthesis or to work as an orthodontic support. The basis for contemporary oral implants is a biological process called osseointegration, in which materials such as titanium or zirconia develop an intimate bond to the bone. The implant component is initial positioned to ensure that it is most likely to osseointegrate, after that an oral prosthetic is included. A variable quantity of recovery time is needed for osseointegration before either the dental prosthetic (a tooth, bridge, or denture) is affixed to the dental implant or an abutment is positioned which will hold a dental prosthetic or crown. Success or failing of implants depends largely on the density and wellness of the bone and gingival cells that surround the dental implant, but also on the health of the person obtaining the therapy and medications which influence the chances of osseointegration. The quantity of stress and anxiety that will certainly be placed on the dental implant and fixture throughout normal feature is additionally reviewed. Planning the placement and number of implants is essential to the lasting wellness of the prosthetic considering that biomechanical forces developed throughout eating can be considerable. The setting of implants is established by the position and angle of surrounding teeth, by lab simulations or by using computed tomography with CAD/CAM simulations and medical guides called stents. The requirements for long-term success of osseointegrated dental implants are healthy and balanced bone and gingiva. Given that both can degeneration after tooth extraction, pre-prosthetic procedures such as sinus lifts or gingival grafts are occasionally called for to recreate perfect bone and gingiva. The last prosthetic can be either dealt with, where a person can not get rid of the denture or teeth from their mouth, or detachable, where they can remove the prosthetic. In each situation an abutment is connected to the dental implant fixture. Where the prosthetic is taken care of, the crown, bridge or denture is repaired to the joint either with lag screws or with dental cement. Where the prosthetic is detachable, a corresponding adapter is put in the prosthetic so that both items can be protected together. The dangers and issues associated with implant therapy divide into those that occur during surgical treatment (such as extreme bleeding or nerve injury, insufficient key security), those that occur in the very first 6 months (such as infection and failure to osseointegrate) and those that take place long-term (such as peri-implantitis and mechanical failings). In the presence of healthy cells, a well-integrated implant with ideal biomechanical loads can have 5-year plus survival rates from 93 to 98 percent and 10-to-15-year life-spans for the prosthetic teeth. Long-term research studies show a 16- to 20-year success (implants enduring without difficulties or revisions) between 52% and 76%, with difficulties occurring up to 48% of the moment.

Dr. Syrus Elicus did a fantastic job doing a composite on one of my teeth. I never liked the asymmetrical shape of it and always wanted it to be more square. He did it in like 15 minutes! Thank you so much Dr Syrus I am so happy with my result.

I loved my experience here. Every single member of their staff was excellent, kind, pleasant and knowledgable. There is an ease of the place, a peaceful one, not only in their energy but also in their holistic approach. It was my first time being treated with airflow and it was a wonderful experience. This provider gives me great confidence as my health is everything, we only have one body and as we are learning, oral care is a huge component of that. Thank you to all the staff at Dental Health and Wellness Newport.

The staff is thoughtful, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The dentists spend plenty of time explaining and showing what is happening in your mouth. It was wonderful to not feel like they were rushing just to move on to the next patient. I felt that my concerns and questions were worth answering and that what I had to say was valuable. I highly recommend Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness.

I have been a patient at Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness for about 4 years now. I am very thankful for this dental office. The staff is excellent! The office manager and other office staff, the assistants, hygenists, and dentists.... they are all excellent! I feel very comfortable and confident in knowing that this is a staff that is concerned about my oral health. I recently brought my oldest child here as well for a tooth extraction and the service and treatment that he received was excellent. I used to drive to Beverly Hills but today I went to the Newport Beach office and I am so thankful that the drive is closer for me now!!! You will be in good hands. The service and treatment is excellent!!!

Avoid Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness—overpriced, dishonest, and unprofessional. Rude & Incompetent Staff: The front desk, especially office manager Leeshane, is extremely rude, hangs up on patients, and lies about billing. I’ve spent months trying to fix an insurance issue due to their incorrect Tax ID, which caused multiple claim rejections. They claimed to resubmit my claim 10+ times, but Delta Dental only received two incorrect submissions. Hidden Costs & Deceptive Practices: Came in for an X-ray, but they performed a Cone Beam CT Scan without telling me the price or that it wasn’t a standard X-ray. They never explain what they’re doing or what it will cost until you get the bill. Mediocre Dental Work at Insane Prices: Extremely overpriced for average at best dental care. They focus on money, not patients. 🚨 This place is a scam. If you value your money and sanity, STAY AWAY!
